Opera Mini for the iPad to be demonstrated at MWC
Opera is to demonstrate an iPad version of its Opera Mini browser at MWC. Opera Mini for the iPad will be joined in Barcelona by new versions for the iPhone, Android, J2ME, BlackBerry and Symbian.

Also, Opera Mobile updates for Android and Symbian will be presented there as well.

The Opera mobile browsers are going from strength to strength lately, and the combined number of people using them around the world is around 105 million (90.4 million Mini and 15 million Mobile users). Lars Boilesen, CEO of Opera Software, commented on the company's goals with the following words:

"Our developers have been hard at work building the mobile browser of the future — for both consumers and mobile operators. We want our browser to impact lives in a meaningful way. A browser may never change the world, but we’ll never stop trying to."

We're only three days away from the start of MWC, and we will bring you live coverage from the biggest congress for all things mobile, so stay tuned.
