OnePlus 6 update could bring a battery percentage icon and selfie portrait mode
It seems that OnePlus 6 devices in China are currently being treated to a new HydrogenOS update which brings a slew of important goodies to the latest flagship device.

In particular, HydrogenOS scores a selfie portrait mode for the front-facing camera, as well as a battery percentage indicator for the status bar. Yes, oddly enough, the latter is missing from the homescreen status bar and is only visible when you expand the notification bar, which could easily become a nuisance for some. Additionally, game optimization has been seemingly included in the update as well.

HydrogenOS is the Android ROM that OnePlus uses in China and shouldn't be mistaken with the international OxygenOS one. However, HydrogenOS scoring a bunch of new features is a dead giveaway that OxygenOS is about to score these as well. Expect the update to arrive in the coming weeks!

Are you rocking a OnePlus 6? Do you miss the portrait mode for the front-facing camera? Let us know in the comments!
