One Plus 5T sets new company record for launch day sales in only six hours
The OnePlus 5T set a company sales record last Tuesday when the latest OnePlus model was launched. According to the manufacturer, it took only six hours for the old sales record to have been shattered. And that obviously made the OnePlus 5T the fastest selling handset in company history. The device features a Gorilla Glass 5 protected 6-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2160 resolution, and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 835 chipset with an octa-core 2.45GHz CPU, and the Adreno 540 GPU.

The two cameras on back weigh in at 16MP and 20MP, both with an aperture of f/1.7. A 16MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video chats. A fingerprint scanner is located in back, and keeping the lights on is a 3300mAh battery. Android Nougat is pre-installed with OxygenOS UI running on top. One variant offers 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of native storage ($499). The second version features 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of storage ($559). Both models can be purchased in Midnight Black. With Dash Charge, charging the battery for 30-minutes will give you a full day of battery power.

With a high screen to body ratio of 80.43%, the OnePlus 5T has narrower bezels than the ones on the OnePlus 5, and a larger screen. The fact that OnePlus can set a new launch day sales record with the 5T tells us just how far this company has come and how faithful its fans are. The very first OnePlus handset, the OnePlus One, was released in April of 2014. Many invitations later, OnePlus has established itself as a legitimate manufacturer of high-end Android handsets offered at an affordable price. And now the company has another new record under its belt and an ever expanding fan base that continually looks forward to the next OnePlus model.
