OTA update to enable Wi-Fi calling on T-Mobile G2

Upgrade brings Wi-Fi calling to the T-Mobile G2

Quite a surprise this morning for some owners of the T-Mobile G2, when they turned on their handset and found an OTA update waiting for them. Even better yet, the goodies that came with the upgrade include Wi-Fi calling and support for tethering.

If you just checked your G2 and can't find the OTA upgrade, don't panic. It appears that T-Mobile has just started rolling it out and with the new features coming to the carrier's first HSPA+ enabled phone, it sure seems worth the wait.
