Nokia makes their Files On Ovi feature free of charge

Nokia has now made the Files On Ovi feature free of charge
Files On Ovi now comes completely free of charge. The particular service that Nokia offers allows users to upload files to the Internet, more specifically to their personal file storage on Nokia servers and access them later using a computer browser or their own handsets. Until now, people had to shell out a monthly fee (that was also payable on annual basis) to use the service and we do think that 100 EUR per year for a 30Gb allowance was ... rather steep a price tag. But the fee is now history! Nokia has just made the service completely free of charge and all customers are entitled to a refund for the remaining number of months they have prepaid for. According to the company, the fact that Files on Ovi is now free would attract more people and the feedback they provide will help the company to improve the service. Let's just hope this doesn't turn out to be one-off thing or another temporary promotion.

So, what are you waiting for? Go grab your slice of free storage here.
