Nokia introduces a slew of new accessories

Nokia has today broadened its range of music and handsfree accessories by introducing two stereo headsets, two sets of speakers and three new Bluetooth headset models.

The Nokia Stereo Headset HS-81, produced in cooperation with Sennheiser Communications comes in a stylish black/grey color combination, featuring a strong neckband, comfortably sized earpads, and specific call control functionality. The HS-62 are full-sized headphones for high quality music experience with 40 mm stereo speakers, and can be folded away for easy storage or travel.

Nokia also offers two new portable speakers - Mini Speakers MD-4 and Music Speakers MD-3. The MD-4 speakers weigh 130g and sport a thin, V-shaped innovative design that makes them suitable for carrying in the pocket. They feature a built-in stereo amplifier for high-quality sound, as well as an integrated radio antenna. On the other hand, the MD-3 speakers feature a classic design with claimed small dimensions and excellent bass and sound. They have a 3.5mm audio connector, so some Nokia adaptors are included to make them compatible with various models by the manufacturer.

The three new Bluetooth headsets announced by Nokia are the BH-801, BH-302 and BH-207. The BH-801 is part of the line of Nokia's premium wireless accessories and is actually the headset that comes along with the 8800d Sirocco Edition. Sporting a stylish and elegant design, it features an optional earloop, weighs 11g and is claimed to have six hours of talk-time and 160 hours in stand-by mode. The second headset, the BH-302, is regarded as a fashionable accessory, with small size, adjustable earloop and multifunction button for managing calls. The device has claimed 10 hours of talk time and up to 195 hours of stand-by. The last one is the BH-207 Bluetooth headset. It has a stylish black look with chrome detail and multifunction button. Nokia claims the device is capable of seven and a half hours of talk time and up to 140 hours in stand-by mode.

Scheduled availability for the Bluetooth headsets is autumn 2006 but there's no info on pricing of the devices.
