Nokia N97 mini is on its way to the stores
One of the things the manufacturer promised during the official announcement of the Nokia N97 mini at Nokia World 2009 was the phone would roll out in October. Well, it seems we have had to wait until the last week of the month to see the miniature version of the N97 head to the stores. The handset will be running version 2 of the software that has been recently released for its elder sibling. The most significant change to the previous edition is the support for kinetic scrolling, Ovi Maps 3.1 and refreshed Ovi Store client. The Nokia N97 comes with a metal body in quite an appealing color and (naturally) is more compact. The price of the handset will heavily depend on the regional market and you can get yourself one for the equivalent of $707 if you happen to live in the UK.

So, is the Nokia N97 the smartphone you have been waiting for and if not, what´s on the top of your cell phone wishlist?
