Nokia N8 gets treated with new custom firmware
Nokia N8, the latest flagship of the Finnish company, can now brag with an all-new custom firmware granting full system access and boosting productivity and camera performance. The firmware is named H2O after the N2O series of firmware for the Symbian-running Samsung OMNIA HD i8910. We should warn you first to do a backup and be extra careful when installing custom firmware.

We will not list all of the modifications, but the essential ones include a file browser with full system access, fixes to the interface like enabled dialer in landscape mode, some changes in the default settings of the camera and voice recorder to give you an even higher quality of the recordings and finally a network mod that sets the connectivity straight after flashing. Of course, visuals are also modded with the Aurora theme (check out the pictures). For the full list of modifications take a look at the source link below.

You can download the custom firmware and try it on your Nokia N8 from here. Let us know how it worked out!
