Nokia N79 Eco for a living planet
The Nokia N79 enjoys some attention lately. We’ve first seen its sporty variant, and now it’s time for its ecologically-responsible twin to appear. It cares about nature in a slightly odd way – it comes in a smaller box and without a charger. Can you believe that the more compact boxes of the Finns have led to saving about 15 thousand tons of material (about 55 thousand trees) and 100 thousand liters of water? Impressing, isn’t it?

Nokia has thought of a way to allure even the ones that are not that worried about the environment. The N79 Eco has a new color (thoroughly black), and it also comes with three additional Xpress-on smartcovers and one full N-Gage game. Its price is the same as the one of the original phone – about $475. Currently, it’s available for preorder only form Nokia’s British site. Have in mind that every N79 Eco sold equals to a donation of $7 for the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature). In other words, your money will be spent on a just cause.
