Nokia Belle might arrive prematurely to older devices, starting next week
Nokia hinted the Belle update for 2010 Symbian^3 devices to come February, about six months after the last Anna update was issued, and it might deliver even better on that promise.
On its Twitter feed, the Finnish cell phone giant answered a question about the Nokia Belle update, saying that it will start rolling out to the first handsets as soon as next week.
Not bad at all as a timeframe, but seeing that the Anna update took 3-4 weeks until everyone got it, we will probably be going through the Belle process throughout the good part of February still. Not that a lot of people didn't install the unofficial Belle already, but being legit is a whole different feeling.
In any case, your trusted old N8, which 15 months after release still consistently scores at the top of camera comparisons, will finally also get a zippy and functional interface to round it off. For more info, you can read thorough Belle impressions, along with a video demo, in our review of the Nokia 701.
