Nokia Belle arriving to Nokia 500 today
The Nokia Belle update has graced nearly all of Nokia’s Symbian^3 lineup with only one exception - the Nokia 500. Today, the Finns have fixed that by making the latest update available to Nokia 500 owners.

So, this makes now the best time to check for software updates on your 500 by connecting it to Nokia Suite via USB, and if the update doesn’t show up yet, you’d might just need a bit more as Nokia warns that it will roll out in phases, gradually for different carriers and countries.

The Nokia 500 is one of the most affordable Symbian^3-based devices, and it originally shipped with Symbian Anna. The bump up to Nokia Belle will bring features like HD video recording at 30 frames per second, a cleaner UI for the browser, new widgets, and redrawn menus. Nokia Belle has been optimized for the 500 to make do with its not-so-stellar hardware and includes only 4 home screens, but still promises fluid navigation.

Check out the video tutorial for the update to Nokia Belle and let us know how it all went below.
