Nokia 6 goes global, gets a special edition

Last month saw the launch of the first Nokia smartphone running Android, the mid-range Nokia 6. Unfortunately for fans of the brand worldwide, the phone was a China exclusive, and up until now the company showed no intent of bringing it to other markets.

However, after selling out like hotcakes in numerous flash sales, it seems like HMD Global has warmed up to the idea of selling the Nokia 6 outside of China as well. Mere minutes ago, during its MWC presentation, the company announced that the Nokia 6 will be available globally in Q2 2017, and also revealed a premium special edition of the Nokia 6 with a high-gloss piano black finish on the back.

The basic version of the Nokia 6 will be available for 229 euro (241 USD), while the premium Nokia 6 Arte will go for 299 euro (315 USD), HMD Global announced.
