Nike unveils new Sports Bands and Sports Loops for the Apple Watch

Yesterday, MacRumors noted that new Sport and Sport Loop bands for the Apple Watch (Series 4 and older models) are now available from Nike's own online store. While these have been designed for the Apple Watch Nike+ series, the accessories can be used on all of Apple's timepieces. They are offered in both 40mm and 44mm, and are priced at $49 each. Three new colors have been introduced: Celestial Teal, Olive Flak, and Smokey Mauve.

You won't find these on Apple's website, and Nike is requesting that consumers sign up for a NikePlus membership before making a purchase. The good news is that NikePlus membership is free. The bad news is that some of the new bands are already sold out.

Besides the bands, Nike is also offering the Apple Watch Nike+ Series 4 on its online store. These timepieces sell for the exact same price on Apple's website:

Apple Watch Nike+ Series 4, 40mm with Sport Band/Sport Loop (GPS)-$399 and up.
Apple Watch Nike+ Series 4, 44mm with Sport Band/Sport Loop (GPS)-$429 and up.
Apple Watch Nike+ Series 4, 40mm with Sport Band/Sport Loop (GPS + Cellular)-$499 and up.
Apple Watch Nike+ Series 4, 44mm with Sport Band/Sport Loop (GPS + Cellular)-$529 and up.

The Nike+ variant of the Apple Watch includes watch faces and apps (including the Nike Training Club app with over 180 exercises) that are exclusive to the series.
