New image leaks the rear of the Samsung Galaxy S5

New image leaks the rear of the Samsung Galaxy S5
Earlier Sunday, we showed you how a video taken of Samsung's two new smartwatches accidentally caught the image of what appears to be the back of the Samsung Galaxy S5. A picture found later showing a still shot of the same scene, revealed that the next iteration of Samsung's Android flagship model will be available in four colors, Black, White, Blue and Gold.

Now, one of our loyal readers has sent us a rather blurry image of what he claims is the Samsung Galaxy S5. To be sure, the picture does match up with the earlier leaks of the back of the Galaxy S5, right down to that mysterious image next to the LED flash. We've pointed out before that the fingerprint sensor is expected on the front of the unit, built into the home key. So whatever it is, still cannot be determined.

Samsung is expected to introduce the Samsung Galaxy S5 later today. There are still many questions up in the air related to the device, including the possibility that there will be two different variations of the phone. Keep your eyes right here. As soon as we know all about it, you'll know.

Thanks, Anonymous Tipster!

Wish that Samsung uses really premium plastic back at least like the one on G2 or the one on the 2012 HTC One X.

It's thin, flimsy standard plastic... I got nothing against it on a phone, but I can't see it as premium.

Judging from this leaked picture, it will have a higher megapixel camera because of the lens size and big dual LED flash, and not sure what the material it's using, looks kinda like glossy plastic but it also looks kinda like LG's favorite plastic with diamond pattern design. I hope the S5 is really a big change from the S4.

I think it just looks like glossy plastic because of the flash. It's a bit hard to tell because of the potato quality image, but you can see some stitching along the edge of the device, meaning it's the same material as the Note 3.

They'd be stupid to change the design.

So this is the *regular* version what Eldar Murtazin twitted. "SGS 5s/5c isnt real names - both S5 with some additional naming. And I dont like "budget" version of SGS5 - is a way too simple" "More advanced S5 coming to market a little bit later. May be a few weeks later. But its real deal, mid tier SGS5 is not"

hopefully this their Less premium version. I also hope we get to see both models today. plastic did not bother me on the s2,s3,s4. however i am hoping for a nice design refresh this time around the transition from s3 to s4 was like going from iphone 4s to iphone 5, not a great deal different to look at, they were different but not such a big change, im hoping for a new and exciting design from the premium version of this S5, heres hoping at least. Oh and i want to be able to buy either the 64gb or 32gb on release day, not the way they usually release their models and often not even release the higher capacity model, please have micro usb 3.0 like note 3 as well.
