This new Samsung Galaxy commercial is like an ode to human-robot interactions
Today, a few weeks before announcing the Galaxy S9 smartphone series, Samsung released a new video commercial, perhaps wanting to get us in the mood for its next-gen devices. Titled Our Galaxy, the video presents a dramatized account of what happens on a daily basis at a Samsung Mobile manufacturing plant - where humans and robots are happily working together to make smartphones, "obsessing over the small things so you can do the big things," as Samsung puts it.
It wouldn't make sense for us to narrate the full video - since you can and should watch it for yourself above - but we'll tell you that it has a happy (even heartwarming?) ending.
In case you're wondering, the smartphone that's featured in the video is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which should get a successor this year, though almost certainly not in the first half of it. Until a new Note is unveiled, we'll be discovering the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ soon, on February 25. We'll see then just how obsessed with details and small (but important) things Samsung is in 2018.
