New Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge promo videos show the performance and design of the two flagships
Samsung today released a couple of new videos that showcase the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, now having about 10 such promo videos. The latest of them present the design of the Galaxy S6 edge, and the performance of both new Galaxies.

In the first video, Samsung talks about how the dual-curve display of the S6 edge is made, as well as about the handset's exclusive People Edge feature, which lets you quickly connect with your favorite contacts, and access notifications. The second video reminds us of the 14nm, 64-bit Exynos 7420 processor that's powering the S6 and S6 edge, while also mentioning the 3GB LPDDR4 of RAM, the speedy UFS 2.0 memory, and the Quad HD Super AMOLED display. Once again, the Galaxy S6 is presented as "the smartphone of your dreams."

As you almost certainly know, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are already available to buy in various markets around the world, with the curved model costing about $100 more than the regular one (both off, and on contract). Our Galaxy S6 review and Galaxy S6 edge review will let you know much more about the two new Samsung-made handsets.

When will Sammy fix the fatal security vulnerability related to the fingerprint scanner of the S6? And more importantly: when will the users get the fix, if ever?

The vulnerability is a flaw from Android itself, 5.0 below to be precise. Hate Samsung much?

All Android phones with fingerprint scanner have this issue. And besides Samsung already fixed that in the S6. You even need root access to the phone which is a security risc in itself and which also disables Samsung Pay automaticly.

Only thing wrong with the phone is battery life which is horrendous, even for a light user..in this case me! Absolutely does not last a whole day! Otherwise, can't fault it.

Only thing I see is your poor sentence structure.

Typical apple reply, make it all about the grammer and spelling and completely avoid the subject.

No. The video narrator is so annoying, and used a weird way trying to convince

You cannot say that everyone who is not convinced is a m0r0n...you can't expect any phone in the world to impress everyone. Forget the apple or wp fans, even the android fans won't agree with you. By your logic, everyone who is not a m0r0n should not buy any other device. Are you and all you friends and family members getting the s6/s6 edge...or are they m0r0ns? Respect others' opinions, you love the s6/s6 edge, he loves the ip6/6 plus...neither of you is a m0ron

He didn't say everyone who wasn't convinced is a m0r0n, just that one poster. And if you go back and check that one poster's comment history on this site, you'll see why. He's an Android hater and more specifically a Samsung hater. He visits most stories about these subjects and tried to sour people on them. He's not convinced because he never will be convinced, he'd never allow himself to be convinced. He's trying to evangelize for Apple because he just hates that anyone else gets attention for a great product. So, he tries to plant negative seeds (usually laced with lies) in these articles in the belief that he's helping Apple. Of course, he's not.

Doesn't see and doesn't want to see.

Of course not. The only thing that would convince you is an Apple logo, even if it was stamped on a dog turd.

A dog turd huh? Well nice that you now have an idea of what comes out of your mouth on a consecutive basis.

Geez, maybe you should stick to the preaching. You're obviously not clever enough for comedy.

Convinced about what? It's an insanely nice phone, do you determine your purchases on marketing?

Lol I cracked up because that is so true.

20. Mxyzptlk unregistered

No. I determine my phone purchases on need and interest. Despite what several choose to believe I've actually gone through many other phones besides the iPhone.

And since how long have u not used other brands? There r many other good choices out there apart from iPhone too. No need to be biased towards a particular brand only.

In the past, you have said that 4 inch phone is the best because you can reach every corner of the screen easily....were you unimpressed with the screen sizes of the 6 and the 6 plus?
