New Asus Transformer Prime update to include awesome new features

New Asus Transformer Prime update to include awesome new features
We don't know what it is or when it is coming, but an update is on the way to the Asus Transformer Prime. The quad-core powered tablet has something special coming, according to the manufacturer. Asus says, "Awesome new features coming in the next Transformer Prime firmware update. Stay tuned."

Asus might need something to perk up sales of this tablet. According to a judge's order in a suit filed against Asus by Hasbro, only 2,400 units of the tablet were pre-ordered as of February 24th while a total of 80,000 units are being sent to fulfill retail orders. The numbers, if correct, are more shocking than surprising as it was figured that the Asus Transformer Prime was making a strong case to be the flagship model for Android tablets. With the third-gen Apple iPad selling like hot cakes, this new features best live up to the "awesome" label already placed on it by Asus.

If I can get the version that transforms into a car, then I will buy one. I want the one that transforms into the VW, like the original Bumblebee did.

Whatever new awesome feature that is, i do hope it will be available in the Infinity Pad as well. And i do hope they will release both the Prime and Infinity at the same time.

The biggest disappointment is that it doesnt have 3G or LTE! I was going to get one of these, but it's not worth it without it having 3G.

For the same money ... you could get a hot spot with the carrier of your choice. The advantage there is that the hot spot could be used for any other device you have too.
