NVIDIA's TegraZone portal is now compatible with all Android devices
Thanks to a recent update issued by NVIDIA, the company's TegraZone game portal now supports all Android devices. Up until now, only Tegra-powered devices could access and benefit from TegraZone's libraries of select Android games. Version 2.9 of the portal, however, enables all Android devices, even those without a Tegra chipset, to also "explore and discover" various games on NVIDIA's game hub.

Improved support for portable game consoles, such as NVIDIA's own Shield and the Mad Catz' MOJO ones, is also included within the update. NVIDIA TegraZone now also supports Google Play Game Services, which means that gamers can obtain achievements when downloading, rating, or sharing information about a game. In addition, TegraZone will also allow users to highlight "special interest groups of games by feature, genre, or publisher". Gamers can also sign in with and use their Google+ information to personalize their public profiles in TegraZone.

Here's the full changelog of the latest version of NVIDIA's TegraZone game portal:

Version 2.9.0
  • Supports Google Play Game Services – achievements for downloading games, submitting reviews/ratings, and spreading the word about TegraZone games
  • Uses Google+ login to personalize your TegraZone experience
  • TegraZone Collections will allow highlighting of special interest groups of games by feature, genre, or publisher
  • Support for NVIDIA SHIELD and MadCatz MOJO
  • Enabled for users of non-Tegra devices so they can learn about Tegra and great Android games
  • Minor bug fixes
