NFL Mobile app for Windows Phone is updated to fix a bug that shut it down like the Dolphin offense
If you're a Windows Phone user and an NFL fan (a combination that probably is quite prevalent) you might have noticed that the NFL Mobile app for the platform would shut down lately when you tried to run it. If we had to come up with an analogy for this, we'd say that the app shut down like the Miami Dolphin offense, which scored just 7 points in its last two games against Buffalo and the New York Jets. This lack of "O" from Ryan Tannehill and crew resulted in another year without a playoff game for the once proud franchise.

While the Dolphin's problems aren't that easy to fix, the NFL Mobile app apparently is. Updated to version 8.3.0.0, the app no longer crashes when it is called upon to provide the latest playoff scores and news. This definitely is the time of the year when you want your NFL Mobile app to be running perfectly. Considering the number of reviews in the Windows Phone Store that mentioned the crashing, this update should be well received.

Also fixed with an update today is the unofficial  Google Maps app for Windows Phone. The updated version is 9.0.4.0. We don't have an official changelog yet for the update.
