Motorola MOTOLUXE launches a tiny bit earlier than expected in the UK for $371 (£234) no-contract
Making good on its promise, the good people within the UK are now able to pick up the Motorola MOTOLUXE – well, it’s actually arriving a tiny bit earlier than expected. In any event, this unexpected early arrival should no doubt surprise people since the handset was originally believed to release sometime in late February or early March in the UK.

For those interested in picking up this modest beauty, UK based Clove Technology is ready to accept orders for this Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread powered smartphone. Extremely easy on the pockets, you won’t have to worry about unloading a whole lot for this snazzy one seeing it’s priced at $371 (£234) outright. Even though its specs are hardly anything spectacular, its refined design is undoubtedly what’ll attract people from afar – and trust us, we sure did take notice of it during CES.

As a refresher, the Motorola MOTOLUXE features a 4” 480 x 854 LCD display, 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7227A-0 processor, 512GB RAM, 1GB ROM, 8-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing snapper, aGPS, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, 1,400 mAh battery, and a microSD card slot. Unlike some of Moto’s recent Android devices, this one is actually running a totally new customized interface that’s dubbed the MotoSwitch UI.

Above all, its slim construction is what obviously attracted us to this device when we scoped it out at CES, and it should no doubt have any trouble in doing the same overseas in the UK. Who knows if Moto plans on bringing this stateside, but hey, you can always import this one if you’re really curious.
