Motorola EX225 Facebook phone makes its landing over at the FCC
Early last month, it was revealed by the Bluetooth SIG that the Motorola EX225 would be the company’s stab at the all Facebook phone – especially when it’s sporting that discernible Facebook button. Well, it’s finally making its presence over at the great halls of the FCC.

In the filings over at the FCC, it confirms that the Motorola EX225 will feature a 2.4” display, 3-megapixel camera in the rear, portrait style QWERTY keyboard, 3G connectivity, and Wi-Fi. However, we’re still in the dark in terms of what mobile platform it’ll be running. Rather than emulating something close to the Facebook experience with the HTC Salsa and ChaCha, which runs a Facebook centric interface on top of Android, it’s being reported that the EX225 will simply be running the BREW mobile platform.

In any event, the filing also goes on to show that the handset has been tested on the 850/1900MHz GSM and the 850MHz WCDA bands – though, we haven’t seen any US carriers announcing anything about it. Still, will the lack of Android dissuade some of you of picking up this Facebook centric device?
