The big battery 32GB unlocked Moto G7 Power is on sale for $230 at B&H and Amazon
If a phone's battery life is the first spec that you look at, perhaps the Motorola Moto G7 Power should be your next phone. Packed with a 5000mAh battery that Motorola claims will provide up to three days of power, the handset is now on sale at B&H and Amazon (via Android Police). Both retailers are offering the unlocked, 32GB handset for $229.99, $20 off the regular price.

Both Amazon and B&H have additional offers related to the purchase of the Moto G7 Power. If you apply for the Amazon Rewards Visa card and are approved, the phone gets another $50 discount taking the price down to $179.99. B&H throws in three items worth $99.90 with the purchase: A three-month prepaid SIM card from Mint Mobile that includes 8GB of 4G LTE data, a clear AVODA TPU case for the G7 Power, and an AVODA Tempered Glass Screen Protector.

While the Moto G7 Power carries a notched 6.2-inch LCD display, the HD+ resolution of 720 x 1570 doesn't draw as much power from the battery as a higher resolution screen would. Under the hood, you'll find the Snapdragon 632 SoC along with 3GB of memory and 32GB of expandable storage. A 512GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional storage. Adorning the back of the device is a 12MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0. In front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper. The phone does not support NFC connectivity, so Google Pay won't work. But the battery is the most important thing, right? And the Motorola TurboCharger will give the phone up to 9 hours of power after being plugged into an outlet for only 15 minutes.

The Moto G7 Power is available in your favorite color, assuming that your favorite color is Marine Blue. And while it doesn't sport an IP rating, the phone is protected from sweat, light rain, and splashes thanks to P2i's nanocoating technology. The handset will work with all four major U.S. carriers and pre-paid providers like MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile.

If you don't believe that a phone's battery life is the most important spec, perhaps your dad does; Father's Day is a week from tomorrow.
