Have you heard? Microsoft is reportedly getting ready to introduce a "selfie phone" that’s currently codenamed Lumia Superman. Earlier today, we told you that the Superman would be released in August via both AT&T and Verizon. Now, we have more info about it, as well as details about another upcoming Windows Phone handset.

According to The Verge, Microsoft’s Stephen Elop showed off the Lumia Superman this week at an internal company meeting. He described the handset as a "selfie phone", apparently confirming that it would feature a 5MP front-facing camera and a 4.7-inch display.

Alongside the Superman, Elop showcased an “affordable high-end” Windows Phone handset that’s codenamed Lumia Tesla (photos allegedly showing it appeared at the beginning of this month). Reportedly, this will "likely" be the successor to the Lumia 720, allegedly resembling the Lumia 930 when it comes to design, though it should be thinner and smaller. The Tesla is expected to feature a PureView rear camera.

Just like the Lumia Superman, the Lumia Tesla will probably be officially announced in the near future. We’ll be here to let you know when it happens.

P.S.: The yellow smartphone pictured above is the Lumia 1020, the first Windows Phone handset to offer a 41MP PureView camera.
