Early on Monday, we told you about
some details that Microsoft has released about its Windows Phone Tango update. Actually, Nokia Lumia 900 units in Europe already have access to the update. So what about the States? A leaked screenshot from what appears to be an online memo for T-Mobile shows that
Microsoft will start pushing out the 8773 MCR3 Windows Phone Tango update for the Nokia Lumia 710 on June 20th. That would be Wednesday for those calendar-challenged readers. The update will be available from Wednesday through July 31st via Zune. Microsoft weill alert you when the update is available for your phone. T-Mobile says that
Microsoft is handling everything about this update from soup to nuts as the saying goes. So if Wednesday comes and there is no message from Microsoft, don't blame Carly.
The Tango update will bring internet sharing options and will also eliminate a bug that made the keyboard disappear randomly. Another bug getting resolved is one where an unlocked screen would get stuck. After the update you should notice faster uplink speeds, an improvement in the quality of pictures taken, a more reliable proximity sensor and perhaps more importantly, a more stable software.
