Microsoft details Windows Phone Tango update
Microsoft is now featuring Windows Phone Tango on its list of updates for mobile operating systems, and with build 8773.98, there are some mostly minor new features and improvements that you can get.

First comes messaging, as with Tango you’d be able to attach images, videos and audio notes and ringtones to your texts. Next, you can export your phone contacts to the SIM card and then also selectively bring SIM card contacts to the handset. Also, you get a neat GPS location icon in the status bar along with the usual bug fixes and minor improvements.

The new version of Tango is already available for European Nokia Lumia 900s, but there are no specific details about when other regions are getting the update.

Very nice, my parents have been waiting for that video messaging feature for a while. I will still say Windows Phone needs an update so that custom notification tones can be made. But Windows Phone is definitely working hard on these updates.

This is the update that AT&T said they would bring to their WP devices instead of the smaller one to fix the keyboard disappearing bug. As Tango has that fix as well, Hope they hold to their word. That sure is annoying.

Ok I was wondering why I still had that bug when I didn't on the HTC Radar. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough.

The update will be welcome to my unlocked HTC Titan. Even better if we get Apollo!
