Microsoft releases Office Mobile 2010 for WM6.5 devices

If you are enjoying your Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone and have no intention of switching to some other OS in the short term, then you'll probably find it good to know that Microsoft has now released the next version of its Office Mobile suite of productivity tools.

Microsoft Office Mobile 2010 is now available for free in Windows Marketplace for Mobile, and offers some new stuff in terms of both appearance and functionality. The color scheme has been tweaked in order to suit the company's Office 2010, while the interface has been updated to be a bit more touch-friendly.

Like the desktop version, Office Mobile 2010 now features cloud computing, which allows you to share, edit and collaborate on documents on the web. Additionally, you'll be able to take advantage of the new conversation view in Outlook Mobile 2010, while the new PowerPoint version offers the possibility of simultaneously playing a presentation on the phone and a computer.
