Microsoft flips 12-year girl from wanting an Apple iPad to buying a Microsoft Surface 2
Here is an interesting little story. A 12-year old girl recently put together a presentation showing the reasons why she should buy an Apple iPad. Her father tweeted the Microsoft Surface team and Samsung asking both to rebut his daughter's iPad presentation. Microsoft responded with a video that convinced the girl to switch from favoring an iPad to buying a Microsoft Surface 2.

Kudos to Microsoft for taking the time to get involved in what was the sale of one tablet. But not only has the company probably won a customer for life, once this story gets around, Microsoft probably will win over a number of new customers for its Surface 2 slate.
