Microsoft expects 50% growth in Windows Mobile smartpones sales
The last couple of years were really good for Microsoft, which registered a 50% growth in Windows Mobile software sales in fiscal year 2006/2007 with more than 11 million devices sold worldwide. The current 2007/2008 fiscal year ends in June, but even now, it surpasses the previous figures with the impressive 20 million units. In addition, an increase of 50% or more is expected in the next period.
