MetroPCS is now selling the Apple iPhone at more than 5,000 locations
Are you a fan of the Apple iPhone? If so, MetroPCS now offers a wide range of iPhone models in over 5,000 stores. That means you can select from the Apple iPhone 5s, Apple iPhone SE, Apple iPhone 6s and Apple iPhone 6s Plus. The pre-paid carrier announced last month that it would start selling the iPhone, including the discontinued three-year old iPhone 5s.

The 16GB Apple iPhone 5s is priced at $199 after a $250 instant rebate. The 16GB Apple iPhone SE (Space Gray) comes with a $50 instant rebate, dropping the price down to $349. The 16GB Apple iPhone 6s (Rose Gold) is priced at $649 while the 16GB Apple iPhone 6s Plus (Gold) will cost you $749.

T-Mobile's acquisition of MetroPCS closed in May 2013, and the nation's third largest carrier has been successful in transitioning the pre-paid carrier's customers over to its GSM network. This has allowed T-Mobile to refarm Metro's spectrum for carrier aggregation and to add more LTE capacity.

More choices for the consumer and remember, the newer iPhones are universally unlocked. You can use them on ANY carrier.

Why is the iPhone 5S still being sold at all? Why is it even being sold today? It makes no sense, unless they made too many of them, and can't sell them, so they need more avenues in order to get rid of them. When the iPhone 7 comes out it will be 4 years old.

Maybe because A. It's cheap and B. It's more than enough for some people. Don't be ignorant.

It still doesn't change the FACT that it will soon be 4 years old. Not to mention you can get much better phones for around the same $199 price, and they come with better cameras, higher resolution displays, and more storage.
