Looking for the emerald green Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, or the blue Galaxy S6? They're almost nowhere to be found (for now)
While Samsung already released the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, not all color variants are available to buy. More exactly, for now the Galaxy S6 edge in emerald green and the Galaxy S6 in blue topaz can't be ordered, and neither pre-ordered, regardless of where you may want to get them from. Furthermore, some regional Samsung websites, including the US one, don't list the emerald green S6 edge and the navy blue S6 at all. Other websites, like the Samsung UK and Samsung China ones, mention that the two color options should be released "soon" (which is pretty vague).

In a recent poll of ours, green emerald was voted the hottest Galaxy S6 color version (ahead of black sapphire, gold platinum, blue topaz, and white pearl), so it's a pity that customers can't get it yet.

We don't know why the green emerald S6 edge and the blue topaz S6 aren't ready to hit the market, but maybe it's because their production requires a special type of paint. Whatever the case is, let's hope we'll soon see both color options on the market.

At the Samsung conference, the CFO only said they were coming out "later". The whole "slecial paint" theory above is silly. My educated guess is that they will be released in the summer to compete with the G4... Or much more likely in September to compete with the 6S and kick off the waytoolongthesedays Xmas season.

I live in Australia and the only option of colours is black or white. I have waited so long to purchase a new phone and then discover that Australia gets only black and white according to the Samsung sales dept. I wanted the gold one. I currently own a Samsung phone as well as their washing machine, laptop, PC screen and TV. I was so on the Samsung team all the way. I am so upset of the colour choices given to me that I will not be buying the new galaxy s6 edge but a gold iPhone 6. I'm jumping ship Samsung. Why bring out so many colours and then restrict me buying which one I want. There goes a $AUS $1400 sale to Samsung.

Yes I got mine last Thursday

This is ridiculous, they should just cancel these colors instead.

Your comment is ridiculous. Special edition colors come out for devices months after they debut all the time. The S6 has officially been out for a week.

I still think it's ridiculous if that's how they do it.

The Green S6 edge is rolling here in Sweden. I ordered a week ago and got a text today that they (tele2.se) posted it this morning to me!

Did you thank your mommy for buying it for you? Maybe she could have spent a little more and gotten the 128gb Edge.

Nope, the green. it's the only phone color I've ever thought looked good that wasn't black or gray.

Black, gray, and white phones are so normal now. I remember when I had a white iPhone 3G (I think), and a white Tmobile G-1. Now whites as bland as black and gray. I'm digging red, blue, and gold.

I don't even like white. Is not about what's normal, it's about what looks good. Bright colors, including and especially gold, are gaudy. Silver and gold are ok for trim, but not too much. But that's how I feel about most things. My car is black. Most of my clothes are gray to black, or muted other colors.

My car is gray&black, and I wear a lotta black as well. Darker colors for a man.

I think not the 1st white iPhone was the iPhone 4 and then it was very very very late, y over 6 months if not longer, somewhat a joke
