LG to launch an Android handset with the Snapdragon chipset in 2010?
Information going LG intends to release a Android-based handset equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset in 2010 has just been leaked on the Internet. According to the source, the cell phone will initially roll out in Korea in Q2 2010, but that´s pretty much all that is known of the mysterious device. Acer and Sony Ericsson has already announced Android-powered handsets featuring the above-mentioned chipset, the Acer Liquid A1 and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 that are expected to hit the shelves at the end of this month and the beginning of 2010 respectively. Will LG manage to come up with a worthy adversary and get its teeth into the sweet pie that the market for Android cell phones is? We will find out eventually, even if not right away.
