LG V30 appears on Geekbench?
The LGE LG-H932PR was discovered today on the Geekbench benchmark app. This could be the LG V30 getting sized up. We come to that conclusion because of the Snapdragon 835 SoC listed as powering the device. The latter is equipped with an octa-core 1.9GHz CPU. The LG Q6 is out of contention because that phone is powered by the Snapdragon 435 chipset.  Android 7.1.2 is pre-installed.

While not mentioned on Geekbench, we expect the phone to carry a 5.7-inch OLED display with the FullVision 18:9 aspect ratio. 4GB of RAM is said to be inside along with 64GB of native storage. A dual camera setup contains a pair of 13MP sensors and the whole shebang is running on a 3200mAh battery. There is no secondary display this year, but there is an IP68 certification rating. This means that the device can be submerged in water as deep as 5-feet for as long as 30-minutes, and escape unscathed.

On Geekbench, the LG V30 scored 1899 and 6350 on the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. Last year's LG V20 had a 1554 single-core tally, and a 3626 multi-core result. The unit is expected to be unveiled on August 31st in Berlin, the day before the annual IFA trade show opens.
