LG Rumor Touch & Lotus Elite getting the love from Victoria Beckham & Eva Longoria
When we first managed to get our hands on the LG Lotus Elite, there was no questioning that it had some kind of fashionable intent with its floral design. At the same time, the LG Rumor Touch was released much later on than the Lotus Elite, but it still managed to follow suit by giving the Rumor series a more stylized revamp. There's going to be more attention paid to these two devices as LG has teamed up with high fashion divas Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria Parker to promote the two devices in their latest campaign simply referred to as LG Fashion Touch. It essentially throws around the notion for a “personal style and the idea that mobile phones have become the latest in fashion communication.” The fun doesn't stop there with these two LG touchscreen phones as the deal consists of a print & online campaign, a series of MTV vignettes, and an exclusive LG party hosted by the two divas that will include fashion insiders, stylists, and celebrities. If you haven't checked out Sprint's web site just yet, they're currently offering a special online deal for the LG Louts Elite which is going for $29.99 with no mail-in-rebates. On the other hands, the LG Rumor Touch is selling for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate which should still be more than affordable with its mix of features. We'll see if this latest marketing campaign will bring out the focus of cell phones as fashionable accessories.
