LG G4 officially launches on June 19 in Canada

LG today confirmed that its G4smartphone would be available starting June 19 in Canada, just as previously rumored.

Already released in the US, the LG G4 will be sold via most Canadian carriers, including Rogers, Bell, Telus, Videotron, and Wind Mobile. LG has yet to reveal pricing details, but it's said that the new handset will be offered for $199.99 on contract, or $699.99 off contract. It looks like Canadian customers will be able to get only two variants of the G4: the black leather, and the metallic grey one.

The G4 is about as large as the LG G3 from last year, but obviously brings various improvements, starting with a superior 5.5-inch Quad HD Quantum display, and a 64-bit six-core Snapdragon 808 processor. LG's new flagship smartphone also comes with a 16 MP rear camera with OIS and laser auto focus, an 8 MP front-facing camera, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage space, and a 3000 mAh removable battery.

Go ahead and check out our LG G4 review if you want to find out more about the handset.
