LG G4 could be launched on June 4 by Verizon

LG yesterday started the global rollout of the G4, its newest flagship smartphone. Of course, this means that the handset will soon be available to buy in the US, among other markets.

While only T-Mobile revealed the launch date of its LG G4 (June 2), we may also already know when the new smartphone will be available from Verizon Wireless. Verizon is currently listing the G4 on its official website as "coming soon", while showing a "Thursday, June 4" date on the device's lock screen.

It's not uncommon for official release dates to show up on the home screens of various handsets before they go on sale. At the same time, this can't be seen as a confirmation that the G4 will indeed be launched on June 4 by Verizon, but that's certainly a possibility.

It's not clear if Verizon is planning to offer both the plastic and leather variants of the G4, but the image seen above confirms that the carrier will sell the former version. We've already reviewed the LG G4, so you can find out more about it before getting the chance to check it out live.

Do you plan to buy the LG G4 from Verizon? Or maybe from another US carrier?

Ugh. It's so hard to weigh phones with a clear prospective now that the 64 GB Asus ZenFone 2 has been announced for the USA at $299. Other flagship phones seem too expensive now... Even the 64 GB OnePlus One at $349 and the $249 Alcatel Idol 3... The market is totally upside down in my head right now...

sick and tired of kids crying about carrier logo on phones. every carrier puts their logo on manufacturers phones except Apple. get over it. car manufactuers do it and the dealerships adds their stamp also. look on your refrigerator. look inside a sports stadium. look in times square. its all advertisement. the king of them all Google is where you can start your complaint with.

Wow that was the stupidest statement I've heard in awhile. Guess you've never heard of the Samsung Galaxy 6 or 6 edge at tmobile for instance. I didn't bother to look for logos while I was there but I'm sure they aren't the only exceptions. You sound like 1 of those douchebags who work for Verizon
