Information on the Samsung S3650 trickles, the S3100 gets officially confirmed
Vigorous and intent on sinking their teeth deeper into the cell phone market and getting a 20% slice of the cake, Samsung is trying to roll out something for everyone. The S3650 that has already undergone FCC testing is expected to be an affordable cell phone, featuring 2.8-inch touch sensitive screen, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM RDS radio and microSD slot, plus the rumor has it the phone will come with EDGE, but without 3G support. Since it will be a quad band GSM, the handset will become available not only in Europe and Asia, but in the US as well, through AT&T and T-Mobile.

The latter also goes for the Samsung S3100 that we already told you about in July. Unwired View provides new details and pictures of the device and it seems the cell phone will come with 2.1-inch screen with resolution of 176x220 pixels, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and microSD slot. The most interesting thing about it, however, is the extremely robust battery that will keep your phone up and running for no less than 20 days.

We still do not have information when or at what price the two affordable handsets roll out.
