HTC Titan pulls a disappearing act at UK retailers
While the HTC Titan II is rumored to launch on AT&T in the states on March 18th, nothing is official. We reported a few days ago that the predecessor, the HTC Titan, was marked down to a penny when purchased directly from AT&T, now, interestingly enough, it has pulled a disappearing act at several UK retailers making it seem more likely than not that the Titan II’s release may be just around the corner.

Several resellers including The Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U are no longer sell the device. Searching for the Titan directly from the carrier via O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile, and Orange also yields no results. With such a sudden, widespread disappearance, we can’t help but wonder if the Titan II could find itself hitting the UK as well as the US.

Both devices sport Windows Phone Mango on a generous 4.7-inch screen. The Titan II is slated to support 4G LTE on AT&T, making it the first LTE-equipped Windows Phone to be offered.
