HTC Runnymede and its Beats Audio branding make an appearance on YouTube
Maybe Mr. Blurrycam took a day off and handed his camcorder over to Mr. Right-of-Center to video the HTC Runnymede. Despite having the center of attention being videoed off-center, we are able to get a good look at the smartphone's massive 4.7 inch WVGA Super-LCD display. A single-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM7255 processor is under the hood with 768MB of RAM aboard, all making the phone look responsive on the YouTube video. The 8MP camera, with an f2.2 lens on back, captures video at 720p while a 1.3MP front-facing camera takes self-portraits and allows the user to video chat. 16GB of memory come with the phone out of the box.

One thing that the person who shot the video wanted to make clear was that the HTC Runnymede comes with the Beats Audio brand on the back of the phone. This means that those buying the device will receive the special pair of Beats by Dre earphones as we reported, as well as all of the special audio technology that Beats enabled phones come with. Note the Vodafone branding on the phone, which will come with Android 2.3.4 pre-installed, and should be ready for the holiday shopping season. There is no word whether or not any State-side carrier will be offering the model and what price it might command.
