According to some insider information obtained by Pocketnow, HTC is working on a new Android smartphone that is shaping up to be a true multimedia powerhouse. Codenamed HTC Runnymede, the device is rumored to stand out with a massive 4.7-inch WVGA display, and a pair of Beats headphones will be included in the set.
1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter will be of good use when you are in the mood for a video chat. In addition, the main camera on the smartphone is rumored to boast a back-illuminated sensor and a F2.2 lens, which will supposedly allow it to capture video at 60 frames per second and to take great-looking photos even in low light conditions.The list of rumored hardware specs also mentions that the HTC Runnymede will be powered by a 1.5GHz single-core chipset, namely the Qualcomm MSM8255, backed up by 768 megabytes of RAM and 16 gigs of storage.
