HTC Ruby makes an appearance online, yet reveals little about itself
When an unannounced smartphone leaks on the web, this usually happens in the form of a blurry image or two of the handset with little or no information about it in tow. However, the case with the HTC Ruby is a little bit different as some 200 photos of the mysterious smartphone have been posted on Flickr yesterday.
Unfortunately, seeing one photo is like seeing them all – they all show two units of the HTC Ruby taking a close-up photo of what appears to be an HTC Flyer. The HTC Ruby is more or less visible as a reflection off of the tablet's screen and it does not look like any HTC device that we have come across so far. What we can say about it, however, is that it packs a camera of unknown size backed up by a dual LED flash and a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack.
That is pretty much all we can tell about the HTC Ruby so far with its tech specs and operating system remaining a mystery. Even its real market name, if it ever sees the light of day, that is, will probably be different as “Ruby” may be merely a codename embedded in the image's metadata.
Those of you who have the patience may try to browse through the whole gallery and search for further clues. Just hit the source link and see what you can find.
