Now that's a nice surprise. HTC just launched a dual SIM version of its HTC One smartphone on the UK market. The handset, referred to as the HTC One Dual SIM, has a removable back cover, behind which the pair of micro SIM card slots are situated. There's a slot for microSD cards in there as well – a perk not available on the current HTC One variant.
Specs-wise, nothing seems to have been tweaked. The HTC One Dual SIM comes with a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, a 4.7-inch screen with resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, an UltraPixel camera, 32GB of storage, and Android Jelly Bean sprinkled with a dose of Sense 5 on top. LTE connectivity is missing on this one.
For the record, this isn't the first time we come across a dual SIM HTC One model. As a matter of fact, there's been one available for months, yet sold solely in China and other parts of Asia.
The HTC One Dual SIM is now up for pre-order at the company's UK online store, priced at £494.99 ($808) SIM-free.
