HTC Nexus One now doing multitouch
As many of you know, similarly to the Motorola DROID in the US, the HTC Nexus One was released without multitouch support in the browser or other system apps, which is actually a feature that is much-desired by users. The reason for the manufacturer to leave multitouch out of the game remains a mystery for now, although it was said that it is because Andy Rubin just hates two-handed operations. (So why the HTC DROID ERIS and the MILESTONE have it then?)

Those who are missing the pinch to zoom action on their Nexus Ones however can now breathe easy, as a solution has been found. Unfortunately, it isn’t an official update or something, but a patch created by xda-developers. You can check the source link for instructions on how to get that multitouch support on your HTC Nexus One, although we would advise you to watch the demo video below first in order to see what you’ll actually get.
