Its new reincarnation is the HTC Desire S with a 3.7" LCD screen with 480 x 800 pixels of resolution, which receives better internal parts - second generation 1GHz Snapdragon chipset MSM8255, backed up by 768MB of RAM, and a 1450mAh battery. The Desire S is housed now inside an aluminum unibody, as is the habit of high-end HTC handsets lately, and sports a 5MP camera with LED flash and HD video capture, as well as a 1.3MP front-facing cam.
The HTC Desire S will ship globally with Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box in the second quarter of this year, and will run the newest version of HTC Sense.
- Display 3.7" 480 x 800 pixels
- Camera 5 MP / 0.3 MP VGA front

Thank you HTC! These are the specs I was waiting for! Not more, than 4.0" screen, at least 1Ghz Chip, Camera with Led flash, good OS, point. Now let's see how much it will cost and if they will have it in other colors (metal?). :)

LOL You were waiting? So why you didn't buy older Desire? The same screen and 1Ghz processor too. It's nothing new in this, despite more RAM.
