Gmail for Android update adds recent conversations, contact info and more
Ever find yourself on the phone, reading a message sent to you on Gmail and not sure about some of the things that the sender is trying to say? With a new update being sent out to the Gmail for Android app, you can click on the sender's avatar and see your recent conversations with him/her. That will allow you to better understand the context of what this person is trying to say. At the same time, you can find out this person's contact information.

Previously, you would have to go searching for this information in multiple places. Now, all it takes is a single tap. And wait, there's more. The update also makes it easier to open multiple Gmail accounts, and support for non-Gmail IMAP addresses has improved.

The update to Gmail for Android will be rolling out in the next few days. If you already have Gmail on your Android phone, go to the Google Play Store and check My apps to see if the update is there. The Gmail for Android app is a free download from the Google Play Store.
