Reports are now stating that Gigabyte may be the next to develop a phone to utilize the Android OS. During the unveiling of the A668 Android phone by Taiwan-based carrier Vibo Telecom, they stated they are in talks with Gigabyte Communications and AboCom Systems for developing more Android-based handsets. This shouldn't be too much of a challenge for Gigabyte, since they already make a Windows Mobile phone,the GSmart S1200, and the Mobile Internet Device M528, which runs on Linux.
