Get the HTC Vive for $100 off along with two free games and a $100 gift card code
The Microsoft Store is currently running a sale on the HTC Vive VR headset. At the physical stores or online, you can pick up the VR system for $699. That happens to be a discount of $100 from the usual price. And there are more savings, including a free $100 Microsoft Store gift card, and two free games. The titles of the two free games are The Gallery – Episode 1: Call of the Starseed, and Zombie Training Simulator.

To use the Vive, your PC must have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 480 equivalent graphics card, or better. The computer must be powered by an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD FX 8350 equivalent, or better. The PC being employed needs to have at least 4GB of RAM. One or more USB 2.0 ports is a necessity, as is an HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 or newer. Lastly, the OS running your box needs to be Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10.

To protect those donning the HTC Vive, it comes with the Chaperone system that gives out a warning when a game player is getting to close to a wall or furniture. In addition, a front-facing camera allows users to get a peek at the real world to find a drink without having to leave the VR world that the player is in.
