Germany's Windows Phone store inside a store
With Windows Phone doing well in Germany, Microsoft felt it would be a good idea to have each carrier in the country convert 4-5 stores where the platform has sold well into quasi-Windows Phone stores with larger displays, motivated sales staff and best of all, free pens for customers! We have some pictures of one of the special Windows Phone "stores within a store" which in this case, is an O2 retail location.

There are large displays on the wall with Windows Phone advertising that will be updated when Windows Phone 8 is launched. The display in front of the Apple iPhone 4S models is a PixelSense tablet made by Microsoft and used mostly as signage in stores and kiosks. And as we alluded to before, the store is giving away some goodies like candy (nothing puts you in the mood to buy a new Windows Phone handset than a ton of sugar circulating the blood stream) and a free Windows Phone pen.
