Fortnite beta for Android now open to everyone, invitations no longer needed
We've recently learned that Fortnite for iOS raked in $300 million since its release in the App Store, so we can only imagine how much money Epic Games will make after the game will be launched on Android.

Speaking of Fortnite for Android, the game is actually available for select players, but not in all countries, and certainly not on all devices. Since Fortnite is still in beta on Android, players need to apply for the beta and hope they'll receive an invitation.

Well, starting today, you will no longer need an invite to play Fortnite beta for Android. As long as you have a compatible device, you can download the game and start playing immediately. Here are the recommended requirements for the Fortnite beta for Android:

  • OS: Recommended Android 8.0 or higher, 64 bit
  • RAM: Recommended 4GB or higher
  • GPU: Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher

Keep in mind that you won't find Fortnite beta for Android in the Google Play Store. Instead, you might want to head to if you want to download the game. Also, don't forget to check out the list of compatible devices at the source link.

Epic is a company that should never be trusted. Especially when they have shady practices. They want users to side load their game. It was found out that only a week later that Epics Fortnite had a vulnerability added to users Android smartphones. Plus it was shown that Epic could have added their app to the play store, and Epics monetization could be on their servers, they didn't have to use Google's play monetization at all. Google's play store would have never let those vulnerabilities happen, if Epic used Google's Play store.

You only have Google to blame for that.

Android 8, RAM 4 GB, Minimum Adreno 530, really? LoLoL With such specs being a requirement, they are headed to a stunning Failure. And it is not even available on PlayStore. They couldn't have done it any worse.

So true. And when using additional software which permits the use of a controller you get your account banned.

Using the smartphone screen as a controller is actually better than using a controller.
