Facebook Messenger beta app graces Windows 10 Mobile smartphones

It took a while, but Windows 10 Mobile users have been graced with a native Facebook Messenger application. Albeit in beta, the official client is pretty usable and has all the mainstays of the app you know and love (to hate) – following Microsoft's understated graphical design, it features GIFs, theme colors, integration with your phone's contacts, voice chats/calling, and you can probably play chess as well (just type @chess to try it out). Check out the screenshots below for a visual impression!

Unfortunately, the app's beta status prevents Windows 10 Mobile users outside the U.S. from downloading and running the app. Still, the availability is on a region basis, as Facebook hasn't explicitly stated that the app is out of reach for non-U.S. users. So we advice trying your luck in downloading it from your residence. If you succeed, tell us where you live, so we can get an idea about the app's presence!
