FCC gets visit from Sony's third smartwatch
The FCC has just received a visit from what would be Sony's third smartwatch. This time though, the smartwatch market has changed. With the Samsung Galaxy Gear already released, and watches expected from LG, Google, Microsoft and Apple, Sony needs to step up to meet the competition with watch number three. The device is called a "BT Wrist Notifier" and has the model number of SWR10. Considering that the previous Sony smartwatch was model SWR10, we could see a huge jump in capabilities and features with this unit.

So, will we see the third Sony smartwatch revealed at CES? It's a strong possibility considering the FCC filing. Unfortunately, not too much is known about the timepiece in terms of specs. We do know that the watch will offer Bluetooth connectivity and does support NFC.

It sounds like Sony is going to be packing a pretty heavy suitcase for the trip to Las Vegas, with quite a number of devices that it could be showing off at the show.
